The Campus Deputy position is staffed with a full time, sworn Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff.  These Deputies are experienced Deputies, having worked a variety of assignments.  Deputies are assigned as campus Deputies, or as rovers.  The Campus Deputies handle crimes occurring on campus, monitor the campus for security / safety issues and report any issues to the Team Leader.  Additionally, the Deputies are responsible for coordinating emergency response in the event of an emergency or disaster of any kind.  These highly trained Deputies are leaders whom students and faculty should seek out for guidance and leadership in the event of an emergency.
