Sheriff
Baca remains committed to addressing the growing issue of homelessness
in Los Angeles County . . .
Despite many obstacles that
have been placed before him, he continues to dedicate time and
effort
into developing
and supporting creative and innovative solutions to this devastating
concern. In March, 2003 Sheriff Baca convened a Homeless Advisory
Committee with the intent of collaborating across the county and
mainstream efforts to address homelessness. This document, reviewed
by all attendees, was the focus of the meeting.
