  INMATE VISITATION SCHEDULING SYSTEM WEB-SITE - https://visit.lasd.org

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has a new web-based Inmate Visitation Scheduling System via the internet. With this new system visitors can schedule their inmate visits up to 7 days in advance.


  WALK-IN/UNSCHEDULED VISITS  

Walk-in, unscheduled visits are available at all visitation centers except for High Powered visits at MCJ. Please note unscheduled visits are subject to availability and processed on a first come, first served basis.


  VISITATION CENTERS  


 REGISTER AND SCHEDULE A VISIT   

All visitors must register (create a visitor account) in the visitation system before they can schedule a visit or attend a walk-in/unscheduled visit.
Here are your options to Register or Schedule a Visit:

  • On-line via the Visitation website at https://visit.lasd.org (Visitor email address is required)

  • In person at participating Visitation Centers. (Visitor email address is optional)

  • Kiosks located at TTCF, MCJ, CRDF (Visitor email address is optional)


  IMPORTANT!! REGISTERING WITHOUT AN E-MAIL ADDRESS   

The following information applies to visitors who plan to register in person at a Visitation Center or at a Kiosk without an Email Address:

  • Visitors who have registered without an email address, will still be able to schedule visits on-line at https://visit.lasd.org however, you will not receive any emails regarding appointment confirmations, visit cancellations or system availability announcements. Without an e-mail address, you will have to logon to your visitor account to find the status of your visits. We encourage all visitors to register with an e-mail address for this reason. Note: Visit cancellations are sent to your email address and phone as a voice message.

  • If you register in person at a visitation center and your account is set up by a visiting officer, then please remind the visiting officer to provide you with your VISITOR'S ID and temporary PASSWORD. You will need this information in order to logon to the visitation website at https://visit.lasd.org Please do not attempt to register again in the visitation website. You will receive an error saying that the visitor already exists and the Visitation Helpdesk will have difficulty finding your account. Instead, please email the Visitation Help Desk for assistance. The helpdesk email is available to registered visitors and is located in the visitation website.

  • It's never too late to add an email address. Once you have successfully logged in your visitor account, you may add a new email address or change your existing email address. Please Note: Only one email address is allowed per visitor account. An error will occur if you attempt to use your email address again for a different account.


  GENERAL PUBLIC VISITING GUIDELINES   

Members of the general public may visit inmates at any Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Jail Facility.

Jail Facility Visiting hours vary and are subject to change without prior notice. For jail facility details, click on the Facility name listed on the left side.

  • All persons requesting visitation privileges must be in possession of a valid photo identification including:

    - A valid California Identification Card or driver's license,
    -U.S. Military identification card,
    -A valid Passport/Visa,
    -Alien Registration card,

  • Minors under the age of eighteen, shall be accompanied by, and remain under the close supervision of, their parent of verifiable legal guardian. Upon prior request from an inmate, minor children, over the age of twelve (12) years and not yet eighteen(18) years, may be permitted to visit unaccompanied by an adult with the approval of the facility unit commander.

  • Record checks may be made if it is considered necessary for the security of the inmates, employees, visitors, or the facility.
