Units within Field Operations Region II are primarily responsible for providing basic police services to the contract cities and unincorporated county areas which fall within the geographical boundaries of this Division.

The Region is comprised of the following Sheriff's stations: Avalon, Carson, Century, Compton, Lomita, Marina del Rey, South Los Angeles, and West Hollywood.

The Region also consists of the following bureaus: CLEPP, COPS, Operation Safe Streets, and Parks.
